Des Moines Bowling Alley Torn Down Due to Asbestos

A Des Moines bowling alley, Perry Bowl, which has been in business for 90 years, has been torn down because the fire department deemed the bowling alley unsafe.

Authorities discovered asbestos on the second floor.

It is unclear whether they will rebuild, manager Bob Smotherman said.
